Privacy notice
How we use your information
Last updated 27 July 2026
Who is responsible
Pets Acre is an early-stage UK software project. The project founder is responsible for personal information submitted through this website.
For privacy questions or requests, emailprivacy@petsacre.com.
Information we collect
The private-beta application can collect:
- your name, work email and business name;
- whether you operate a kennel, cattery or combined premises;
- an approximate accommodation-unit range;
- the system you currently use, if you choose to provide it;
- an operational frustration, if you choose to describe one;
- your beta-contact and optional product-update preferences;
- technical request information processed by Cloudflare to secure and deliver the service.
We do not send form answers to analytics services.
Why we use it
We use application information to:
- assess whether a business is a suitable fit for the initial private beta;
- respond to the application and discuss possible participation;
- understand recurring operational needs while designing the product;
- send occasional product updates only when separate permission has been given;
- protect the form from misuse and investigate service problems.
Assessing and responding to a requested beta application is based on our legitimate interests in developing and validating Pets Acre and on taking steps you request before a possible beta relationship. Optional product updates are based on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Where the information is stored
Application information is stored using Cloudflare services. Cloudflare acts as a service provider and may process technical data through its global network. We do not sell application information.
How long we keep it
We review application information and delete it when it is no longer needed. Applications that do not progress are normally deleted within 12 months. If you join a beta programme, relevant records may be kept for longer to operate that relationship and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to provide, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw optional marketing permission. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
To make a request, emailprivacy@petsacre.com from the address used in the application.
Cookies and analytics
This initial website does not use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics. If that changes, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.
